The Azem's Rest is a cozy micro-cafe and bar nestled into the tower of the Ingleside Building in the Empyreum. Founded by a once famed adventurer, now retired, the Rest aims to provide a comfortable place to relax, enjoy the company of friends and new strangers, and imbibe some simple refreshment.

Rules

This is a queer friendly establishment, and if you have a complaint about that, you can take it up with management. "Management" is what the owner calls her black mage's staff.

This is a "light RP" establishment. Playing your character is encouraged, but no one is going to lecture you for OOC chat. Try to keep IC discussion in quotes "like this" or /em, and OOC discussion in parens ((like this)).

Also, please be considerate to other guests who may not want to play witness to your more NSFW amorous escapades, and keep such excitement to tells, and your clothes on, during business hours.

Finally, no bigotry of any kind is acceptable in this establishment. That means no racism, homophobia, transphobia, support or defense of fascism, and that includes IC and OOC. We want to make a friendly space here, and if you've got complaints, see above regarding management.

The Rest serves a range of refreshments, baked treats, and a soup of the day. All transactions are made IC, for the sake of our customers who may not wish to spend real gil on outdated food items that fill up their bags. 😉

About The Owner

Anna Verde is a Keeper of the Moon, famed thaumaturge, retired adventurer, and traveller, once known many lifetimes ago as Pandeia, holder of the Seat of Azem. Since handing down that title to a chosen successor, she has settled down in Ishgard to raise her adopted daughter Yselda, and lead her newly founded tribe in establishing a haven for fellow Keepers in Coerthas.

Since the original Jeweled Crozier location's untimely accident, she has relocated to the Empyreum, leasing a room high in the tower to carve out a little space for fellow outcasts and oddballs like herself. It's quiet, mostly, except when the bells chime.
